Day 1 of my jobless life, and I had to run a few boring errands. I had to go buy groceries among the old people in this town and while I hate Wal-mart, it's the closest store to me.  Nobody tells you that adult life isn't all it's cracked up to be.  At least a lady there told me I looked cute.

Pink is my other favorite color.  It's tied in to my obsession with ballerinas and what I could never afford to be.  I usually like to surprise people and wear head-to-toe pastels, but sometimes I need a balance of dark and light.  My purse doesn't match, but that's one of the woes of liking pink.  None of the shades are ever the same and you're lucky if they just look like they are to the untrained eye.

There was a resale shop in my first college town and I would walk over sometimes and buy the cheapest thing there.  I found this Jessica Louise top for $7, still with the tag.  I was a freshman in college, 18-years-old, and this lady had my dream job.  The top isn't amazing quality or particularly difficult to make and it occurred to me that if she was successful, I could be as well.  I was still feeling positive about my obsession with fashion, and my first year of fashion merchandising was going nowhere.  So I transferred and majored in Apparel Design, knowing the risks and putting them off in the back of my mind.  Some of my classmates are still jobless like me.  Others have gone back to school or become teachers.

Still struggling with this picture business,so the terrible lighting in my apartment will have to do for now.
There's nothing quite like posing in your living room for a camera on self-timer.  I don't know how to keep the awkward from showing.
