I'm working on a bunch of patterns and needed to restock on tape, hooks and eyes, and kraft paper, so off to Wal-mart I went.  I have a ridiculous amount of exposed zippers so I will be trying to use those as much as possible in my upcoming designs.  My mind is all over the place, impatient to start and confused as to where. 

On the plus side, I finished a mock-up of a skirt.  I can't remember what kind of circle skirt this is, since I made the pattern a few years ago in my draping class.  Invisible zippers don't like me but I was determined to get over my fear and I'm mostly okay now.  This one still decided to give me issues when zipping, but the skirt is flawed so it's for me and it's not much of a problem.  The next one will be for sale and will mostly likely have an exposed zipper.

I was too lazy to fight the zipper, but it does close all the way up.

 I really love this fabric, despite how grandma-ish it might seem to others.  The only con is that the metallic thread is slightly itchy and irritating.
